Day 16 - Rest Day

After a well deserved rest in Madrid, we packed up the camp and headed for Toledo. Having initially planned to cycle the 60km route across central Madrid and along busy A roads out to Toledo, we closer investigated this and made a very mature decision. After hearing several people say Madrid is impossible to navigate even by car, the thought of risking more motorways and more A roads, the safest option was to hop in the car and make the journey risk free.

The three Price's and Fred arrived in Toledo, pitched camp and awaited the phone call from Marcus and Rob to be picked up from the train station. This phone call eventually came but was one we had not hoped for. Rob Garratt "hello mate- no bikes on the train." After a few debates about who should go, Laurie and Fred re traced their steps and picked up the two boys.

On what should of been a very relaxing day, turned out to be a bit stressful. However a beautiful campsite and a wander in to Toledo should sort us all out, ready for the final week.
